Hi I really enjoy reading your theories and analysis about stranger things. I always had this confusion about Eleven's character and the lab storyline, in the montauk Project from which this show is inspired, the main test subject Duncan Cameron's psychic ability is said to be different from Eleven, like El has telekinesis power to move objects from distance, whereas Duncan, he can focus on an object in his mind and make that object appear, whatever he could think up would appears in the base, Kali has this kind of power in the show, if Duncan was the main test subject of the experiment, then Kali should have been in the show in place of Eleven. The only similar power between El and Duncan was that they could access other people's minds. I'm just confused and would like to know your opinion about why Kali and El have different powers.
Ciao! Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy my theories. :)
I think the Duncan of Stranger Things is Will. He is the Builder, the artist, and apparently, from the ending credits of episode 8, an illusionist too, like Henry and Kali. But I wonder if he's really like Henry or he can actually manifest things into reality. Maybe that's the reason why Vecna doesn't kill him, even if he's mad at Will? Because he's been using Will's powers to create illusions in the real world? Not sure, just a theory.
So, the order of the most powerful illusionists is: Kali-> Henry-> Will. Imo, Will should be the most powerful character in the show, because there are many hints that point at that reveal, because that's something that will indeed change everything (not the UD being a wormhole), and honestly, because it would be the most epic reveal. Remember people's reaction to Sorcerer? Imagine if it turns out that the shy, kind boy who's been traumatized many times and always felt like he was a mistake, is actually the most powerful being in the entire show. It makes sense, narratively, and it's the kind of plot twist people love.
And it also makes sense if these things are mostly happening in their minds. Basically, like in Fantasia. That doesn't make them less real, because someone/something is threatening the world.
Thank you for the ask!
Byler is stil endgame shhh

we are delulu but it's Beetlejuice references in ST5 for us okay
Watching 'Fear Street - Part 1' right now. Even if it is not perfect, it is queer, entertaining with woman in charge and POC characters.
The trilogy was written, shot, and produced by Leigh Janiak, Ross Duffer’s ex-wife, who divorced him early 2024 when the Duffers began to shoot ST5 and to write Volume 2.
She began to work on the trilogy before ST3, and for what I see until now, I will totally believe that this divorce had an impact on the disaster that are Volume 2 and the Finale.
In a way or another, Leigh Janiak was the brain and the soul of Stranger Things at some point, and Ross and his brother were left incompetent and could not compensate with Kate Trefry, who worked on ‘Fear Street – Part 2’ and is the mother of Lesbian Robin, as she was busy with TFS.
