We have Steve - Nancy - Jonathan as the core, right, the OG polycule

Next, Nancy will branch off to Robin, who branches off to Vickie bc Robin has two hands and she finally works up the courage to ask her out

Unlike what most of the fandom thinks, Arya enjoys the company of girls. What she doesn't like is girls mocking her because of her interests (and she's right not to). But Max and Eleven wouldn't be judgemental of Arya, they would connect with her over shared interests ( aka liking spending time outdoors) and the fact that they have also experienced bullying. Likewise, Arya would see what these good girls have been through and her protecting mode would kick in, despite her being younger than the other two girls. Those three would become besties.

who do u think will die in s5 of stranger things?

personally i think either will or el

hi! i think sadly there’s quite a good chance that el might die but i personally don’t think that will will die.

what made me super worried for el’s fate in season 5 was the ending shot of season 4. her standing in the decaying part of hawkins while all the couples stand behind her gives me a feeling that it’s strong foreshadowing for season 5. apart from that, it also worries me that the duffers said they want season 5 to have a similar ending to season 1. in season 1, el was supposed to die at the end and she had essentially sacrificed herself. i can see this happening in season 5 as well and i’m very scared because i do not want her to die. she deserves a happy ending and to learn more about herself and who she is outside of the supernatural stuff.

for will, my biggest argument as to why he’s safe in season 5 is because of his arc in season 4. he’s purposefully been written to have the audience on his side. why else would they show him constantly amidst midleven’s scenes for the most part? and it’s not that he looks thrilled in any of these scenes lol. a lot of the audience is very sympathetic towards him now and is rooting for him. why do this if they’re just planning on killing him off? i genuinely believe that they are heading for byler endgame in season 5 and for will to finally have the happiness he oh so desperately deserves. the fact that they’ve starved him off any ounce of uninterrupted happiness will just make the happiness he will get in season 5 all that more cathartic.

aren’t the smartest but they’re often underestimated

are strong fighters

are good in action

just want to be loved and feel wanted

are willing to confront their mistakes and make up for them

have questionable moments that they learn from

are extremely loyal

grow to be more open-minded and mature

are generally very chill and relaxed

are extreme softies

I also think Ron and Lucas have some similarities too. Lucas and Ron:

are extremely underestimated/underrated

are extremely loyal

are in love with standoffish, strong and clever girls who could kick their asses

are realistically flawed

learn from their mistakes

are sometimes gets it wrong but comes back to make up for it

are fantastic in a fight

are tactical fighters/thinkers

have strong-willed, fiery and bright little sisters who could 100% kick their asses

grow to be more open-minded and mature

bicker playfully with their girlfriends

are grounded and pragmatic

are sometimes reactionary and defensive

I think there’s a bit of a trend regarding why I loved Lucas so much in S1 and l grew to love Steve (as everyone does). There are definitely parallels to Ron with their flaws, their personalities and their stories.

what are some of your favorite headcanons that you have? (It could be for anything!!)

Okay, imma go with Stranger Things for this one (since that’s the fandom I know you from 😂 — but I You have other fandoms in mind feel free to send another ask!!)

•Robin is a musical theatre nerd. She’s in band and she did drama? That’s a musical theatre nerd right there. She has a huge collection of soundtracks from broadway musicals, and Steve is thoroughly confused as he looks through her record collection for the first time. But he will learn. Because she will make him learn.

•We didn’t see it much this season, but I truly believe that Steve has fully become Max’s honorary big brother (like more than the rest of the party — except for Dustin of course). After the events of s2 she starts going to him for help, and it’s gotten to the point where she just hangs outs at his place whenever things are bad at home (which let’s be honest is a lot). She has a spare key, Steve always makes sure the kitchen has food for her, and sometimes she stays the night if she doesn’t feel safe to go home or she just needs a supportive big bro (when she doesn’t stay the night he drives her home; Steve Harrington does not let his kids wander around alone at night!)

•Which brings me to my next HC which is: Steve’s Parents are never home. Now, I know it is implied in the show a few times that his parents are out on business trips a lot, but I’m talking all the time. Like not a couple weekend or even a week a month, I’m talking about them being gone like three weeks a month. This started Steve’s second year of high school and is when he started becoming ‘King Steve’. Mostly because he’d have parties in his home — but for him those parties were more about not wanting to be alone in that big empty house.

•Steve’s Dad is emotionally abusive to him. Again, kind of implied in the show. This is where Steve’s little bit of toxic masculinity came from in s1. He was told he had to be the best, he needed to earn his dad’s love, his mother didn’t do anything to stop it, and anyone he’d tell either reiterated his dad’s words of how weak he was, or said he was overreacting “It’s not like he’s hitting you.” He stops telling people and asking for help after a while and becomes cool King Steve. He starts gaining some of his vulnerability back after he starts dating Nancy, and when he becomes the kids honorary big bro, but Robin is the first person in years he talks to about it. She’s also the first person that actually listens, believes, and comforts him. —Max finds out sometime after Robin (maybe she sees/hears it when she’s at Steve’s and his parents come home unexpectedly) she feels even closer to him after that because he really understands how she feels (though she wishes he didn’t live with that too).

•El still dreams in her void, even after losing her powers. Sometimes she sees Hopper (and maybe even talks to him). Every time she wakes up from one of those she desperately tries to use her powers and find Hop. Nothing happens, though.
