this is so SO telling to me. it’s the conservative general audience in a nutshell. stranger things IS made for the actual outcasts, not people like Dash. The show is for the people on the actual margins of society, this show wasn’t made for the majority. it just wasn’t.

Not only did we get our sweet karma and revenge on the suffer brothers, but we also got the homophobic part of the ga to experience what it feels like to be a Byler fan. Hurts, doesn’t it? All the signs were there to make you believe in something absolutely groundbreaking and amazing but it didn’t end up happening and now you’re made to feel delusional. And you’re pissed that they cruelly strung you along and didn’t deny that it was going to happen. Mind you, you just had to wait days to find out you were being played with while most fans of Byler waited not just months, but YEARS. You couldn’t even fathom our level of pain and disappointment in the dumbass duffers but at least you KINDA know what it feels like to be in our shoes now.
