there is so much background lore to this au lmfao but we’re gonna ignore all that and just focus on this specific aspect

ok archie is a golden retriever of a dude if there ever was one but also hes lowkey insane so like, when billys feral ass tries to square up? archie can go toe to toe

but also because hes so nice and caring etc etc... he’d be a calming influence on billy i believe that. and archie teaching billy how to box/wrestle to let out his aggression is suddenly important to me...

also think itd be hilarious if archies like “btw i play music :)” and billys like oh sweet until he has to listen to archies christian rock and hes like no... no no. no. and then hes gotta introduce archie to “real music” (shouldnt even put that in quotes like its canon archie doesnt know who bob dylan is someones gotta teach him something) 

and theyd be workout buddies! so much tits in one relationship... compels me. (billy would absolutely drool over that body like dont even play with me i know what that mans about)

i think theres also something to be said for archie and his tendency to get himself into street fights. billy would be very useful and would not need much convincing to join him. 

archie makes billy better but billy makes him worse and thats what relationships are all about baby! lets get this crossover going!

People liked to act surprised that they had ended up finding each other. As if it didn't make complete sense that these two girls, lost and broken so many times that they sometimes forgot who they'd been to start off with, would find a home in each other's touch. It's more surprising that it took them, the self-proclaimed geniuses that they were, so long to see what was right in front of them.

Strangerdale (the story so far)

1. What is Strangerdale?

Strangerdale is the by-product of a slightly unhinged conversation in the Steddie discord between myself and @grandmastattoo that has since snowballed entirely out of control in the best way. (If memory serves correctly, it started as a joke about Steve meeting Archie Riverdale in jock heaven and, honestly, how far we’ve come since then.)

Strangerdale is an au in which the characters (and some of the funnier plot-points) from Riverdale just exist randomly in the Stranger Things universe. So far, there is no explanation as to how that happened or why they’re in Hawkins. They just are. The only two people to recognise how weird any of this is are Eddie and Vecna.

2. What time period does Strangerdale exist in?

Good question? Probably the eighties. Maybe? I’m still not entirely sure. Here are the things I do know though: Eddie is a Gleek, Cheryl Blossom has full use of modern day technology (& Steve can and does receive texts from her on the regular), and, at one point, a gofundme is created to have Jughead put down. But, other than that, I think it’s still the eighties.

3. Why have you done this?

4. Are there any rules?

The most important rule in terms of taking part in Strangerdale is to have fun. Genuinely, if something is funny enough, it does not have to make sense or have any sort of explanation lore wise. To quote the great philosopher @grandmastattoo “Strangerdale operates on ‘it works if it’s funny’ rules.”

(There are however a few pieces of established lore that you might want to stick to. Such as:

- Archie Riverdale (which is his full legal name) has fought and defeated Vecna multiple times in hand to hand combat.

- Eddie and Jughead have an enemies to frenemies arc the is entirely one sided. Eddie hates Jughead with a passion and Jughead has to be reminded who Eddie is on a regular basis. (This is only made worse when they eventually finds out they’re brothers.)

- Steve and Cheryl are besties.)

5. Right. OK. This is unhinged but where can I find more?

Strangerdale content can be found under the #strangerdale tag or on a ridiculously long thread on twitter that you can find here! The lore is ever evolving and I encourage, nay implore, everyone to take part because it’s the most fun I’ve had in ages. (And yes! This is me telling you to watch Riverdale in the year of our lord 2022 so that you can take part in this silly au.)

You know what… now that riverdale is all supernatural I guess and that options on the table…. Would be sick as hell if billy climbed out of the upside down through a portal in riverdale 😂 and he’s just wandering around confused as shit covered in muck and goo stumbling along the side of the road until Fred or fp drives by and stop and ask him if he’s alright etc etc and offer him a ride home to shower and get fresh clothes and it all starts from there…

What if billy just climbs out of a tree or some shit in fredsythes backyard and suddenly they’ve got this random feral child banging on their back door I think that’s neat too. Possibilities are endless now

Tell me more about fred going missing in strangerdale au 😩

OKAY!

well first i was thinking he should go missing because hes more beloved and people would actually want to find him (by people i mean his peers. could you imagine if adults just straight up didnt want to look for fp lmfao dark)

and then i was just thinking about fp being a lil gay baby making it his personal mission to find fred (also because fred has an older brother you can get the other siblings involved that way and make it a whole thing)

also fred trying to contact fp through his walkie talkie!!! or a radio or whatever.... i just think thats neat (this all came about bc i was watching the new are you afraid of the dark and the main kids best friend is missing and there was a scene where the kid had his tv on but walked away and his friend popped up on it calling for help but of course he did not see or here and i was like oh bitch... fredsythe)

oh and then marty and hiram can be the bullies... yeah. talking all sorts of shit about fred =/ 

and thered be this whole parallel with fp and oscar both feeling guilty like somehow fred was their personal responsibility and its their fault hes gone... much to think about

and arties just day and night out combing the woods looking for him while bunnys locked at home by the phone incase fred calls or shows up (and of course she too is getting weird electrical interferences that shes SURE is fred but no one believes her)

and freds just stuck in the upside down curled up and scared singing (insert whatever song is important to him and oscar) to make him feel safe.... 

gladys is eleven i have decided. that is all
