Found a cool species called Microchimera and like all things I love these days I've made it Half Life. So this is my beautiful baby Atmos (yes like the strata au) who popped fully formed into existence in Kleiner's office and got adopted. And then the rescas happened and it was in the Citadel's computers and Breen fucked it up real bad :/

Its main species at birth are damselfly, fennec fox, and burrowing owl, but after it spends two decades or so jumping between Combine tech to stay safe from all the aliens and monsters and zombies it's been polluted by different Synth features :(

Btw I draw way too fuckin tiny and I had to break out this brush to paint on some of the finer details. And it sucked and my hand hurts but I'm so happy with how that specific drawing came out

So this is a version of Strata from the Freeman's Mind universe, who, like Barney, went to MIT with Gordon (instead of a local college in Maine, like normal stratas.) Instead of being responsible and a bit stuck up, Strama starts off energetic and outgoing, before they turn into a frumpy 50 year old lady who plays the world's last Nintendo DS and smokes weed after surviving the 7 hour war. Despite the way they seem, Strama is a mathematical genius. it's extremely difficult to catch them making actual mistakes; the last time anyone did, it was during an extremely rowdy party put on by Black Mena's guards where Strama was taking harder drugs than they had been for a few years (not that they weren't coming to work high every day anyways.)

They're a bastard. And I love them
