The idol’s singing comes to an abrupt stop at the sound of the studio booth’s door opening. The instrumental continues to play but Kagari grips the lyrics of the song she’s covering. 

“This was supposed to be a private rehearsal - none of the security guards are allowed in.”

She lets out a laugh and lightly shoves him away. “Cringe.” Her tone is clearly affectionate, though.

          she felt a little awkward lingering on the side like that, her backpack slung over her shoulder and her phone in hand to help pass the time ( and make it seem like she was actually busy doing something instead of just waiting around ). in truth, leah was getting a little antsy waiting for her turn to catch emily after the talk, a small group of chatty students and professors seemingly holding the doctor’s attention for much longer than leah had anticipated. 

          just when she thought it was a lost cause, an opening presented itself as emily dismissed herself from the group to head for the door, and it was then did leah perk up, her voice calling out to the other before she realized it. “dr. rowe!” well— now what? she hadn’t exactly figured out what she wanted to say, but she supposed she had to figure out something now. closing the distance between them, leah clutches the book bearing emily’s name to her chest, a bashfulness suddenly becoming apparent as she begins, “sorry, that was a lot louder than i thought it’d be.” god, she hoped people weren’t giving her weird looks. 

          “i was just, uhm — i wanted to say that i really enjoyed your talk. a lot of what you said really resonated with me, and i’m really glad i came out to hear you speak.” a beat, and then, “do you think — sorry if you’re about to head out or this is kind of a lot to ask, but if you have a few minutes, i’d love to ask you a few more questions. maybe over some coffee? i’ll pay!” she did have some extra money in her student account to cover the cost, after all. “it’d also, uhm, would be really cool if you could sign my copy of your book. only if you want to, though!”

Snuggled up under a blanket on her couch beside Maria, Flora clutches the mug of eggnog in her hands, cheeks flushed a bit at this point. Daniel had gifted Maria some eggnog and the both of them decided to enjoy it when they came home from Maria's family dinner.

Though, Flora didn't realize it had alcohol in it. And Flora was indeed a light weight so her head at this point has fuzzy feeling and a giggle escapes her lips.

"Maria~ I think this eggnog may have had something in it... A truth serum or something because I wanna tell you how cute you looked tonight. Though, you look cute anyway."
