Moodboard
Looking at FFXIV mods requires you to have an image of your character constantly in view to keep yourself grounded bc you will forget what people look like in that game otherwise and I mean this in a scary way.
New guardian: White woman jumpscare
I’m so sorry to anybody who wants to actually know more about Amanda. There’s no category for her on Ishtar and somebody straight up wrote fanfiction on destinypedia and tried to pass it off as fact.
When I say literally none of this happened I am dead serious. She never threatened him with a gun. The confrontation was over comms. It didn’t even flow like this. They sure extrapolated a lot of venom out of this dialogue that Wasn’t There too. What Amanda hater got into destinypedia I just wanna talk. Why did you add the “who was like a father to her” like. I get it but also it reads weird.
Sun character with moon heart and moon character with sun heart. Such is real and true to me
every time somebody starts claiming that women characters aren't eclipsed by men characters in their fandom, they should be legally required to look at the yuri index for their fandom. or at least look at the fuckin AO3 stats as is.
it’s not a perfect indicator but it’s better than the purely anecdotal evidence people have where they swearrrr they see more or just as much about the women. People literally see appearances of women in fandom and media as way more than they actually are, as in thinking shit like half the fandom work is women-oriented when it's like. 15-20% or something. if we're lucky.
it was never not funny when ppl bent over backwards trying to explain why Amanda was murked bc it’d always be like oh she’s gonna be rezzed to add to crow’s arc or be hunter vanguard or do something incredible for the narrative and it’s like guys they just saw a character that they weren’t doing anything with to kill to artificially inflate the stakes/intensity of the plot . I’m sorry it was misogyny. Yeah. Sorry. They didn’t actually have any long term plans for her.
