rating different versions of Strawberry Shortcake bc i love her berry much

the original. vintage. her hat!!! the yarn hair!! the round cheeks and blush and freckles!! the bloomers!! the color coordination!! i want to put stickers of her everywhere. 100/10

this version is pretty rare i think?? i haven’t really seen it besides this one picture. why is she holding a tambourine? not enough strawberry imagery. BUT the bow and dress are very cute and it still keeps with the Vibes of the original. 8/10

the version i grew up with!!!! full of circles, very friend shaped. outfit and haircut have gay vibes. very much a modernized version but you can still recognize the similarities to the original. the hat is comically big. i love her. 11/10

this just looks like a different character. all of the colors are too purple-toned and she’s trying very hard to be early-2000s fashionable. i’m naming her boysenberry cobbler. 6/10

cottagecore energy! her hair isn’t quite as curly as the old versions (i’m sure that’s bc it’s simpler to draw) but it’s still very cute. back to the right color palette. her smile looks so sweet. 9/10

not friend shaped :( not round enough, especially her face. they tried with the outfit and i can appreciate that. but the hair is just wrong, the eyes are too “generic cartoon” and the personally i’m not a fan of the seeds in the hat :/ 2/10

who is this!! this is not strawberry shortcake!!! she’s just... so generic. this could be literally any cartoon girl. i kind of like the idea of the hat but even that’s not very interesting. 0/10
