Things are going well, thank you for asking. After the upheaval of our cross-country move, life has calmed down considerably, and I find myself with an abundance of time on my hands. I am starting to think that perhaps I need to find myself a hobby. Idle hands are the devil's workshop, as they say.

Charlie please. Drinking isn't going to help, it's just a temporary solution even if you keep drinking. My parents both fell into alcoholism and I really don't want the same to happen to you. You deserve help you deserve love Charlie no matter how much you may think the opposite. Please let me help you, I'll do anything at all just please. I don't wanna go on in this world without you in it too. -🍓

On the contrary, it seems to be helping very well.

Time has passed so nebulously these past few days. I have merely noticed that at some points it is daylight, and at others it is night. It doesn't matter either way.

But my thoughts, so fogged at first, have started to become quite clear.

There is nothing you can do to help me now, except perhaps to assure me that you will not remember me more fondly than I deserve.

You may be pleasantly surprised to hear that I have not touched a drop of alcohol for several weeks, since I went for a beer with my cousin @yourpaterson. While I do not think I wish to deny myself entirely, I am beginning to see the benefit of moderation in what I consume, and in other aspects of my life also.

I hope you are well, and caring for yourself as diligently as you cared for me. It is important, in these uncertain times, to put oneself first on occasion.
