Felicia, Vampire Savior/ DarkStalkers 3 (Capcom)
I've been wanting to make a strip about Heidi's weird mumbling for a WHILE, but. needed a punchline that didn't end up being kinda MEAN. Playing with the reality of the strip was a really fun way to do that, and I enjoyed making this one.
For Ralsei
So this might be a bit random, but do you think there will be any negative repercussions from Susie being told about the battle menu by Flowery? I know you were willing to tell her when prompted, but I am curious about your thought process.
Kris and Ralsei were together in the onsen, talking, when Kris suddenly said something weird. It almost wasn't their voice. It definitely didn't have their tone, way of talking, and was much longer than their usual string of a few words.
After a moment, Ralsei understood. "Kris, this... this isn't you, is it? It's Them?" He asked. Kris managed to nod, just barely. Ralsei didn't know why they asked it, or why they could talk, but he decided to answer it. It was better not to anger them, and it didn't seem like the question was meant to hurt anybody. It almost seemed like the Being was worried for them.
"I... I think we might be able to use this at some point. From the prophecy, I know we will a&G8V1s-" He froze. Something about his words... He knew he said something logical, but something about them gave him a strange feeling. Kris remained silent, so he said, "Shake your head if you couldn't understand me a moment ago."
Kris's head moved a slight bit, left and right. Ralsei was confused. "So... can I simply not tell you stuff from the prophecy? Like, how 2nba7G6a$a and... That weird feeling struck again. Shake your head if you did." Kris's head moved again.
"This... is weird." Ralsei said. "Well, perhaps I'll be able to not tell it to you directly. It certainly looks useful. We might one day encounter a being like you. It seems like this knowledge could be useful one day. Knowledge could be dangerous and painful. You don't always want to see stuff that exists too far from your understanding of reality." The feeling didn't appear. "You heard all that, right?" They nodded.
"Could I ask you why you're here? What you want to do?" Kris's head was shook. "Are you unable to talk, or are you unwilling to? Nod your head for the first option, and shake for the second." Their head moved up and down.
Kris was quite confused. The Being has talked. completely. And Ralsei seized the chance, and talked to it. Kris was happy he did, but they were still confused. The Being talked in such a... person-like way. It talked like any random person you might encounter in town, and not like a Being.
Before they had any chance to continue the interaction, Susie cam along. Ralsei and Kris shared a look, that agreed on continuing this interaction at some other point in time. This was certainly interesting.
Timeline 4A
Do you think that Logan will notice Wade breaking the fourth wall on a daily basis, so when he finally asks who he’s talking to- BOOM, Logan becomes aware.
“Who are you talking to?”
“You… you see me talking to them?”
“TO WHO?!”
“Look, peanut. Concentrate.”
Wade just points to the table, Logan finds this weird but does it anyways just because he’s bored. He focuses and after a minute, he sees the fourth wall.
“AAH WHATS THAT?!”
“The fourth wall:)”
“The fourth wall exists?!”
-Wade just nods like a silly boy-
“Are we… does life exist?”
“LOGAN ITS- -“
Logan is terrified and Wade is crying of laughter.

Status: Complete Work
Summary
In which CuriousPupsicle decides to toss off a quick bit o'fluff but keeps getting interrupted by an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other. Apparently the two have "things to say." But c'mon. We know they couldn't possibly write a story any better, amirite?
Why we love it
A fourth wall demolition is not something we usually encounter in fanfiction. CuriousPupsicle does it masterfully, seamlessly weaving storytelling with hilarious objections from our main characters, effectively telling two stories in one. A fix-it within a fixed story, where Aziraphale and Crowley are already together, fussily and grumpily (I'll let you guess which is which) "contributing" in the narration. Hilarious, adorable and achingly romantic.

With Phenomenal Cosmic Powers come a reasonable audience question.
Where does Genie get his references?
Everything takes place in the same universe at the same time*
It is the same universe, but Genie doesn't obey time rules
Genie can break the 4th wall
He transcends universes/dimensions and learns about Goofy Tigger Tink and all
Its Just Robin Williams (love him but this is the boring answer)
Something else?
*this one is like if everyone in Aladdin would get most the references because they are rather common. Maybe not everyone else understands everything, but any character could get any individual joke. Unlike the second choice where Genie pulls different references across time that could be lost on everyone else because it's too old or hasn't happened.
"Mm-kay. That's one wall. Two walls. Three walls. Oh god. Oh my god. I can see you!"
