Just started an internship with a local department of environmental protection.
I'm working in a stream monitoring project by assisting in electrofishing!
In the last two days I learned basic electrofishing techniques and how to fill out datasheets on site.
Pictures: bucket of collected fish with bubblers, so they get enough oxygen. A electroshocker backpack with anode pole. Last two pics are of the waders and boots I use for work, prevents me from getting soaked or shocked.
