I want to create some funny thing for movie geeks out there. Basically, it will sense motion in one area that you can select by facing it in directions. Maybe it will even be possible to give the user the possibility to widen or narrow the area the sensor checks. 

If the sensor picks up movement, I want the arduino to send a command to a sound shield, equipped with many famous movie qoutes, to randomly choose one of them and play them. Additionally, there will be some kind of visualization, but I’m not sure yet if it will be a string of LEDs or maybe a lightbulb, I will have to see what looks best.

All of this will be build into an old TV case, to give it some nostalgic flair. I’m also thinking about additional things to add to strengthen said flair, but at the same time I want to keep it rather simple, so that it would also with in a more minimalistic ambiente. 

What I’ll need:

- Arduino (duh)

- a sound shield + SD-card

- motion sensor

- some kind of light, possibly LEDs

- old TV case

- wires

- cables

- speaker

- skill to manufactur it all together and make a stable construction inside the TV
