Stormfur

Admittedly, I have yet to plan out arc 2 so much of Stormfur’s life is still undecided, but I can tell you about the events leading up to his warriorhood.

Stormkit and Streamkit were born to Silverstream and Greystripe and were taken to ThunderClan upon Silverstream’s death. Brindleface, the only nursing queen at the time, agreed to take them in, but a RiverClan patrol came to camp about half a day later, asking to have the kits. Crookedstar was with them, and Bluestar decided to give Stormkit and Streamkit to the other Clan. Greystripe was tempted to go with them, but was forbidden to do so by Bluestar, who seemed to know what he was thinking.

Stormpaw and Streampaw grew up in RiverClan with Greypool, Sandheart, and later, Dawnshine as their moms. Crookedstar was actively involved in their upbringing, and they were aware of their kin in ThunderClan in Willowpelt, Darkstripe, and Greystripe. They talked at Gatherings, meeting Greystripe for the first time, but neither sibling felt tempted to join ThunderClan. For both siblings, RiverClan would always be home.

Tigerstar wasn’t obsessed with blood purity here, only loyalty, and he wanted Stormpaw and Streampaw dead as their ThunderClan heritage conflicted with their loyalty to TigerClan. Stonefur died helping them escape, and Stormfur was later partly named after him.
