Dan Bejar’s 4th studio album as Destroyer was released on 24 April 2001.

Streethawk: A Seduction was the final Destroyer album released before Bejar signed with Merge Records (who would reissue Streethawk in 2010).

The album received positive reviews, with Pitchfork writing, “Each line seems immaculately crafted, every note falling into perfect order, every word sung with the proper bite and bile.”
