“You’re talking about me behind my back again.”

“Oh! You’re participating as well, Felix? You likely would make an excellent waiter; you certainly have the balance and poise!”
@strengthoflions for Felix
It had been a week since the professor told him he’d be representing the Blue Lion house in the White Heron Cup, and Yuri had been pointedly avoiding telling his friends. He didn’t think any of them would necessarily make fun of him, he just... wasn’t actually sure how he felt about it.
Of course now he found himself practicing on his own, in tucked-away places in the monastery that had enough room but that people weren’t likely to find him without him hearing them first. He was in one such place when his ears perked in time for him to stop a twirl and see Felix. A smirk graced his lips.
“Come to find me?” he asked, turning to face him and putting his hands on his hips.
@strengthoflions
The moment the door to the stables clicked, one of N’s ears swiveled towards it. He kept his perch on the stable’s railing, a hand still on his new friend’s nose as his eyes slid towards the clicking lock. Dimitri had mentioned company... hopefully he had mentioned it to the newcomer as well.
Even with the promise of civility and a new friend to stay his nerve, N still found himself reflexively hunkering down a touch, trying to hide in a hood that was no longer there.

Annette was grateful her preparations for the ball didn’t take long given how all the girls fussed over their professor. She didn’t want to be late, after all. It was simple enough to pull on the blue and white dress over hair that had already been pulled up and pinned. The faintest dusting of glitter on her cheeks gave the girl just the hint of sparkle that she wanted without causing a mess.
With preparations complete, it was time to wait for her date. Having never gone one one before, she couldn’t help nervously fidgeting. What if she did something wrong? What if, goddess forbid, she tripped and fell over carrying something and made a huge scene.
“Stop it Annette. It’s fine. You’re just going to a party. You’d have been fine just on your own. The only difference is someone is going with you.” She murmured to herself. As usual when lost in thought she began to sing just about what she was thinking.
“There will be cakes and pies, oh my what a sight. Girls in bright dresses dancing all night. Dear me! Just think of how lovely a night it will be.”

Roxy had been riding for some time now, crossing through hostile and friendly territory alike. Fortunately there was little to call attention to her. Having taken the effort to cover her fiery red hair and dress as simply as she could, the girl drifted from town to town with hardly a glance. The turmoil from Imperial invasions, as terrible as it was, helped her fly beneath the radar.
Her route north took her into Faerghus, following the map she had brought with her. She had one destination that she hoped she could talk her way into; Fraldarius house.
She dismounted as soon as she was in sight, leading the animal in so she presented less of a threatening target. She didn’t have to be incredible observant to notice the guards standing sentry and knew they’d likely stop any visitor.
“Halt!” One of them shouted as soon as he spotted her, his sword ready to draw. “State your business.”
“I would like a chance to speak to at least Felix Fraldarius, if not Lord Rodrigue. Also Annette Dominic and Ashe Duran since they’re also here. I’ve got some information they might be interested in.”
“Who are you?” The other guard asked suspiciously.
“Baronetess Roxanne von Sol.” Roxy answered calmly, hiding the frustration the interrogation was causing. She felt each passing second breathing down her neck. She didn’t have time to argue with guards. She was probably going to going to waste enough arguing with her former classmates. “I was in the same House at the Officer’s Academy with them.”
The guards regarded her with another long silence, causing the girl to shift restlessly. “Another orphan then.” He snorted, clearly not believing in the title she had given. “If you disarm I’ll escort you inside and see if they’re willing to meet you.”
“Fair enough.” Roxy dutifully removed the multiple knives she had concealed on her person, dropping them into her saddlebag as she did so. One, she even pulled from the messy braid that her hair had been tied in, a place few looked to see.
“Come along.” The guard escorted her inside, her horse remaining under watch of the other. As she was left in the entrance hall, a servant was sent in search of the three teenagers. If anybody could verify the guest’s identity they could.

“Another lost soul come to find solace in Abyss? There are quite a number of Duscur survivors hiding in the shadows here. I’m sure you’ll be right at home.”
@strengthoflions
Yup, he’s lurking in the shadows as usual. “Did your date go well?”
