Alejandro Ghersi’s second extended play sees him still finding a distinctive footing. Atmospheric glitch pop that’s more left-field than most but not especially riveting, Stretch 1 seems midway between Tyler, The Creator-esque dark instrumental hip-hop, lo-fi house and ambient IDM. Flickering with diced vocal samples and glassy synths, it’s a record that seems pretty typical of any electronic producer still searching for a unique place in the market.
