Strickland Forest Walk 6.10.19
Another visit to Strickland Forest today to do some of the other walking tracks on offer and of course, to get a few geocaches along the way.
Beautiful day today, temperature not too hot. Started out wearing a jumper but quickly had to take that off as we started walking.
So nice to walk amongst the trees and only hear the wind through the leaves and the birds song. Track started out pretty flat then gradually became very overgrown in places. Some places we almost lost sight of the track. Eventually we started making our way down into the valley.
After a while we came across the waterfall then continued on the lower track to circle back to the car. Of course the walk back was all uphill! Definitely took us longer getting back to the car than getting to the waterfall.
A really nice walk and the track was not too long. Wouldn’t want to do this walk in summer!
