Gymnastics: 8 min EMOM 4 strict pull ups 1st 2 wall walks. 2nd
WOD: 14:30 800m run 30 burpee pull ups 800m run
I didn't feel very well before/during class today. I don't know why. I ate my normal breakfast and grabbed a banana about 20 min before class. Odd.
This was a wicked shoulder workout in the Gymnastics portion. I rarely practice strict pull-ups and I struggled to get even close even while using the black band. Wall walks were a struggle too. It looks like there is work to be done.
The run was much harder than the burpee pull-ups, which is unusual. I guess I was just so glad to be able to kip the pull-ups! I think it's just that I was feeling off. The good news is that I left feeling like a million bucks. Cleared my head from a crazy week at work.
Update: This workout left me so sore in the shoulders. Wow!
