"The Walter Havighurst Special Collections, part of the Miami University Libraries. Our collection strengths include the history of the Ohio Valley and Old Northwest Territory, the history of transportation, the American Civil War, modern Russian history, William Holmes McGuffey, the Shakers, children's literature, and the history of the Myaamia people (in collaboration with the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma). We are also fortunate to have many of the personal effects of Rodolfo Usigli, including his heavily worn flask and Einstein-shaped pipe (see our portrait).
