I've got a both a strife specibus and a captchalogue modus based on sound/music for ya:

soundkind: the player can allocate any musical instrument in this specibus and attack using the sound it makes (sound waves and/or sound pollution). it also works with their voice!

melody modus: each item is assigned a certain melody that the player must copy in order to access said item. depending on the melody, one might need a musical instrument to access an item

How does someone change their kind abstratus, and where do characters like Equius or Dirk get their further Kind Abstrati?

Imps can drop them, or otherwise, they're just things you can buy in the real world like a new Modus. You can't change it once set, so you gotta acquire a new one.

I equip a Slingshot and just start captchaloguing pebble ammo.

Okay so my first troll OC (Lipia Page) uses MC Inventory modus (works like Minecraft inventory, no gaining or losing cards, 27 "inactive" slots that require using modus' associated item to access, 9 "active" slots that can be used at any time, items in use are still considered "in" the modus) and bagkind (considers any items in it part of it for Strife purposes), with her access item being her bag. Result: wildcard!

Oh that's interesting! It works well as a Modus for sure, just a set inventory... X3
