i think a huge part of it is that he doesnt feel relevant enough to need a stage name??? like no one knows him as a producer, they know him as zayns friend. and on top of that like, naughty boy is kinda a ridiculous pseudonym

i mean you could say that but that sounds so unnecessarily disrespectful i mean lady gaga is an unbelievably crazy pseudonym but you still call her that? it just seems so racist to try to demote him just because you don’t think he’s relevant and remind people that his name is shahid it’s not difficult to just call him naughty boy but people go to such intense lengths to other him and it’s just... off-putting
