“i won’t talk,” he said.
the first punch shattered two of his ribs. the second had him coughing blood.
“maybe we should snap your fingers so you can’t play than infernal flute,” van eck suggested.
i’m here for her, wylan reminded himself. i’m here for her.
in the end, he was not nina or matthias or kaz or inej or jesper. he was just wylan van eck. he told them everything.

🎁 Best gift you ever received and why: I think it’s probably the one two of my friends gave me last year, it was a shoe box filled with small gifts inside like jewelry, shells, some quotes to cheer me up. It was really simple but they knew it was something I would really like and it was adorable

If you wanna read "A Little Life" i wanna warn you, this is pretty emotional and often hard subject could be shown in graphic and intense way
thanks for the info! i normally don’t have problems with harder subjects and i am not that easily triggered, but now i have to ask; is it more graphic then aftg???

give me a letter and i’ll tell you my 5 favourite blogs starting with that letter
Do you maybe have any advices for some who writes stories and wanna be either published/self published in future. Since i kinda want to do this in future, but amount of discouragement for debiutans and feeling that even if would like my future book to be available to lets say other countries, people in lets say US would be discouraged by seeing some unknown not english sounding name? If so thanks and sorry to bother :D
Hey! You're not being a bother at all, thank you for sending this ask :)Well, I think I'll start by addressing the name part. Trust me when I say US readers don't really care for how the name of an author sounds. There are many authors with non-English sounding names. And just to name a few popular ones you might've read or heard about on this blue website: Jenny Han, Benjamin Alire Sáenz, Renée Ahdieh. English sounding names don't get you high praise as an author, so you shouldn't have to worry about attracting US readers :)Which kinda brings me to your first question. If you're getting discouraged because of other people's expectations, then their expectations are the problems. If you have a story, then write it. If you have a manuscript, then publish it. You'll find yourself in a lot of sticky situations and will be in a constant "What am I even doing?" but that just means you're doing something big you've never done beforeSetting smaller goals is a good start. Maybe start with getting your name out there, join writing networks, make friends with other writers who will encourage you all the way (I can be a good friend!), and READ! If you're planning on self-publishing, then read self-published works of the same genre you plan to be inI wish you the best in the future! (✿◠‿◠)
