I heard (what sounded like) a string quartet version of Green Day's "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" while I was out today, and it reminded me that I hadn't listened to my String Quartet Tribute To Elliott Smith CD in quite some time.
Not all the songs work in this style, but I still really enjoy this compilation. Some songs, like "No Name #3", really lend themselves to a string arrangement. Listen, and see if you agree with me.
