Would anyone be interested in basically just a list of a bunch of songs from different artists I like (each artist would have their own list) and whether Sam, Dean or Cas would like the song?
I have a lot of opinions about music and which (mainly modern) songs TFW would like.
I have a little headcanon with a drabble about Sabrina Carpenter, specifically Short 'n Sweet and I was wondering if people would be interested in more of these.
So far I'm thinking of doing Olivia Rodrigo (over half done actually), Billie Eilish, Conan Gray, Laufey and more eventually + random songs I think they'd like.
There wouldn't be heaps to them, just a few sentences for some but I think they're nice, I'd also love any ideas/thoughts other people have for them.
A few that I WILL be elaborating on are;
Sam is a closeted emo. End of story. No argument there.
Cas listens to Vitamin String Quartet more than any other music of any kind. He prefers instrumentals and he likes how delicately layered the violin and cellos are etc. He can appreciate the work that goes into it and he loves that they do pop songs because then he knows the melodies when they come on in random places and it makes him feel less excluded than he usually does. - I actually wrote HEAPS about this that I will be posting eventually.
Dean likes Taylor Swift (obviously), Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo. Sam is more into Billie Eilish, Laufey and Conan Gray since he's a depressed bitch - like me!
I'm also mainly keeping this modern with some older songs here and there. We all know Dean loves Led Zeppelin and Sam like 80s hair rock, this is all stuff that you wouldn't exactly expect. This will also be heavily influenced by which songs I like, i.e. no Man's Best Friend because I honestly hate it, sorry but I can't stand it. And when I do Taylor Swift, I'll probably just do 30 odd songs that I like and fit the characters. It's going to be a lot of songs I like because I can't really get into the head space of thinking which songs Sam, Dean and Cas like if I have to hear The Life Of A Showgirl one more fucking time.
