No I didn't have it on weapon banner. And I've spent 50 Intertwined Fate trying to get Stringless.

So what happens in the Bandit Swap Au?

Since I'm assuming you mean during the current events of the AU since I already explained the backstory, pretty much it's the same as the game. Bandit runs from Dahlias, tries to help his friends, frights ageist Stingless and other foes that could hurt him or others, and just trying to survive. He's a bit more jumpy and shy because of what happen to him. Usually one of the other four try to go with him, due to the fact sometimes his vison will disappear on him and they don't want that happening while he's all alone. The other members of the core four are angary at the Puppeteer/Carl, for what he did to bandit, and we're honsetly suprised when he wanted to be on his strings agein. They are all overly protective of him as a result.

Dahlias has his heart set on killing Bandit once and for all, as payback for all the years he had spent alone. Dahlias is also the only Puppet that is allowed to break the 3 rules, but he tries to follow them anyway. There's likely more but honestly not much is coming to mind rn.

Ever since what happened to Casey when she became a full stringless and killed Jack the bandit king and his men, Catori is determined to find away to help Casey to not become stringless again. So Catori is studying about stringless and writing a book about them.

Here's one of her pages she knows so far about stringless

Eyes: Stringless eyes are completely empty and pure black with no eyes, it's like that they have no soul in them but some do have eyes ( example: Casey Grimm )

No strings: Some how they don't need strings to move around, they use there on muscle to move, no wonder way they are called that

Hands: They just look like normal hands of a normal puppet, but they use them to cut other puppets strings or easily to tear body parts off of other folks

Damage parts: Stringless can not feel pain so they can survive from anything that can not kill them

Legs: Some stringless are slow because with out there strings they are weak, some stringless can survive with out legs ( example: beast stringless) some stringless who are stronger then normal stringless can walk normally or run faster ( example: Faceless bandit or Casey Grimm ),but there a stringless never gets tried so they can walk forever with out rest

On the other page

Head: Sometimes you go for the head to take down a stringless, but some stringless can survive with out a head ( example: Mr body )

Body: Stringless body is also like a skeleton, but you can get stringless that are stronger then other stringless ( example: Faceless bandit, beast stringless and Casey Grimm )

Other stringless: some other stringless still have there strings but they are still stringless, even they have strings they are still dead ( example: Grieves, Frezey and lookout )

Stringless are still themselves: Like Casey Grimm and Faceless bandit for example, some stringless are still folks and not completely dead and still there old self's like Casey and Faceless, but when they not strong enough they could lose their self and turn there back on the living

About them: Stringless are the most dangerous creatures in showdown valley, they are undead puppets with no strings attached to them and go out to kill folks that they have strings

Warning: when you encountered one don't go near it or anything, just hide and wait for it to go away, if it sees you, you must run away as fast as possible or well hope you pray to your puppeteer

The Original Bandit Theory

Theory: Faceless, Lorelei and Doc Carver were all from an older draft of The Showdown Bandit Show that was supposed to be marketed to an older age group.

This is connected to my previous theory post.

Let’s start this off with observing Lorelei. She seems to be looking for someone in the very first cutscene, and then seems surprised to find Showdown there. She didn’t seem to do much about it, even acting somewhat distant in her tone. She doesn’t seem bothered by the fact Showdown is there, simply tired or perhaps trying not to get attached, since it seems Showdown puppets are a dime a dozen around there and are often put aside.

Her design also feels off compared to the rest of Showdown Valley’s inhabitants. Where everyone else has soft colors and rounded faces, besides Doc Carver, who also has a certain appearance that doesn’t follow the rest of the cast.

Rather, both she and Doc Carver seem to have darker appearances, and tones, that match more with The Faceless Bandit rather than with Showdown. 

Perhaps they made him and didn’t finish before changing ideas, and thus he was tossed aside and ended up getting scratched up because he couldn’t see where he was going. However, they may not have had enough money for both their new idea and to replace Lorelei and Doc Carver, so they put them into Showdown as they were.

Faceless was likely having to fight everything that made a sound, considering how he only shows up in areas where enemies pop up, and became extremely aggressive towards every noise because of it. Lorelei often traverses those spaces, which ties into how they meet (again?) and why he might (attempt to) attack her and why she might get a shot to gouge off that part of his hat (likely in self defense).

Now, why isn’t Penny attacked? Because in every instance of her presence, she’s singing. Perhaps this alerts Faceless that it’s not one of the enemies, considering that as far as we know, the Stringless don’t speak, let alone sing.

So, what say all of you, do you think this is a possibility?
