here is my remix of "marshmallow break" by @rainyhaven! slate thinks back to when they learned to shove fifty-seven marshmallows on the stick.

i tried to make it look like this happened many years ago, at a different time of year.

i think this is the most ambitious piece i've ever tried to draw texture-wise, it was really good to push myself and work with new brushes. thank you for hosting this event, and thank you rainyhaven for drawing such a lovely original piece!

See? I can draw a happy Howie before his life went to shit. My heart goes out to his mom. I can see her being a paranoid super mom who only wanted what was best for her baby boy. If no one else is going to care for him, she was willing to scratch and claw at any opportunity to make him happy. Even at the cost of her own well being on most days. At the very end, it cost her life.
