So I was watching Thor Ragnarok last night and at the part where Thor and Banner are on the quinjet, this occured to me: When Thor tried to get into the computer, he tries every name he can think of, until he lands on "Point Break". This works, because that's what Tony put for his name in the system. Following this logic that Stark sets the names, when Banner logs in and it calls him the "Strongest Avenger", that means Tony considers him the strongest and one of the most important on the team.

Bruce was gone for two years?? Yeah I don’t think so.

Thor gets to Sakaar and Loki has already been there for “several weeks” even though it was only like a day for Thor because time works differently on Sakaar.

Bruce has been there for two years Earth time, which I’m going to assume is the same as Asgard time.

Let’s say “several weeks” means like 3 weeks so that means 1 Asgardian day = 21 Saakarian days.

So 2 years on Earth/Asgard is really 42 YEARS ON SAKAAR.

Bruce had been Hulk for 42 years. 42. YEARS.

Even if Loki meant like 2 weeks, that is still 28 years.

Bruce is in his 50s. He was Hulk for almost as long as he’s been Bruce.

So when even Mark is like yeah, Hulk talks now. Nah man. Hulk doesn’t just mutter a few phrases. He has a pretty nuanced understanding of figurative language. I submit “Hulk like raging fire. Thor like smoldering fire” for evidence. What 2-year old talks like that? At first I thought yeah, of course because Bruce is a genius and some of that bleeds through to Hulk. But no no no. Hulk is a fucking poet because he’s been learning for at least as long as it took Bruce to earn a few Ph. D’s.

When Bruce says he might not come back next time, he’s not fucking kidding. He’s already been locked away for a lifetime.
