'She looked up at the angels face and felt a rush of wonder run through her; how something so beautiful could be filled with so much hatred? His perfectly chiselled face, the straight line of his nose, with every feature different, somehow it all managed to fit. Lee walked forward unconsciously until she was right beside his face, close enough to see every line of the creators work. She brushed off the leaves and dirt and stroked the side of his face all the way to his shoulder bare, her hand remaining there for just a moment too long. Lee closed her eyes and fell to the floor, tears running freely down her cold pale cheeks; how could she still have more tears to shred, surly they were all gone by now. Wrapping her arms around her middle she tried to keep herself in one piece. She didn’t know what had come over her, it was just that seeing this, after what had happened, it was all too much. Lee felt as if she could no longer fit into a world where everyone thought so differently to her, what had she done wrong to deserve this? Life for her had changed so much, it was hard for Lee to keep up. From the guardianship agreements to feeling as though the house she had lived in all her life was a different world. It was like, if she stopped for more than a second, then everything around her would come keep going, twice the speed it was at already. She would be left behind and even more stranded than she was before. Lee felt suffocated with all the responsibilities that have been left on her shoulders. She was tired; her heart ached, and she just didn't know where she belonged any more.'
