Two updates from the Turkish anon, describing how bad the police brutality is there right now.
First message:
Hi!!! I'm back Police brutality. Not at all!!! Our police does NOT attack students, wound them with hard rubber bullets, tie them up saying " theres no place in the station for you you'll stay here until the morning." Does not almost break a glass door of a hotel who let the kids affected by pepper spray in, all of them are coughing and gasping. Almost breaking the door and making "come here" signs to the kids. They do not beat people up. Until they're purple and bloody. They do not attack civilians. They do not ask for nude searches of girls in the protests. "Oh but they're servants of command!!" Servants of command do NOT beat civillians, call kids to fight. Nude search girls fighting for their future. They don't do none of this. Remember. Police are not your friends. Be safe. Take extra clothes on with you, cover your eyes. Diver glasses work. If you can, make your signs on plastic trays, you can use them as shields too. Do NOT attack the police it'll just make our situation worse and give them a reason to attack. This is no time to be apolitic. Even your breathing is politic, if you can't go on the protests like me then help people on social media. Make stickers. Do ANYTHING but don't stay silent.
Second message:
It's me the Turkish anon again, you don't need to post this if you don't want to. It might be disturbing for some people too, but for some context, the woman is screaming saying "I'm begging you to stop, it hurts so much please stop, let me go everything hurts. I’m begging you." And the police is saying "you're unlawfully here." (Which she isn't)
This shit made me question everything. This is the reality of the brutality. It's not just some text of "the police is beating people up." No. Another video of a girl. Calling a loved one saying the things they did to her which isn't in the video but then a group approaches her. She starts to scream "no,no,no,no,no" and trash around and the people calm her down by saying " darling we aren't the police, baby we're not the police let's take you inside baby, come here." People. Calm. People. Down. By. Saying. They. Aren't. The. Police.
To be clear, both these videos were shared by the anon, I just can't indent them with everything else.

"Turkey is bombing and massacring Kurds tonight. No protests, no marches, no media coverage, no condemnations from UN, no ICC arrest warrants for Erdogan. Since 1914 Turkey has killed over 1.5 million Kurds. Stop Kurdish genocide." — Hemdad Mehristani, researcher, X, October 23, 2024.
If Turkey has the right to respond to a terrorist attack by bombing dozens of targets belonging to Kurdish militants in Iraq and Syria, why is Israel being condemned for responding to the October 7 Hamas-led atrocities against its own citizens? Just because of the "two-state solution": Michigan and Minnesota?
Not only is Erdogan lying when he accuses Israel of "genocide," but he is also proving that he is a big hypocrite. If he is really worried about the safety of the Muslims in the Gaza Strip, why does he continue to support Hamas, while denying Israel the right to defend itself against Islamist terrorism? If he believes that he has the right to bomb Kurdish militants in Syria and Iraq, why is he denouncing Israel for taking the same action against Palestinian Islamist terrorists?
The complicit silence of the anti-Israel groups on US university campuses towards Turkey's crimes is simply evidence of a staggering racism and hypocrisy.
