These Ground and Fighting-type Pokémon were inspired by tortoises and Dutch stroopwafels, and were commissioned and designed by @kyuremfan24. The belong to the Nenal Region.
Strowatoise (Ground) Sweet Syrup Pokémon #021 - Strowatoise shells are surprisingly fragile. As a method of defense, they secrete a thick, sticky, sweet syrup; predators are either trapped by the viscous substance or distracted into eating it instead, allowing Strowatoise to flee. Humans who discovered the syrup’s pleasant flavor have since begun using it in a variety of sweets, including biscuits and pancakes.
Tweadoise (Ground/Fighting) Two-Headed Pokémon #022 - During evolution into Tweadoise, this Pokémon's head splits into two, a change once thought to improve its awareness of predators. Although its shell and syrupy secretion harden significantly, further observation revealed the true purpose of this adaptation: the twin heads remain vigilant not for their own safety, but to watch over and protect their young from approaching threats.
