She sniffed, shutting the book, cringing when she realized she forgot to bookmark her page.

He’s not speaking English. Dimly, Dirk is aware that he’s not speaking English, but the man in front of him is. That doesn’t make sense, English hadn’t been invented yet.

Dirk squints at him, trying to see past the hallucination. “B-Bro?” he asks, trying to wrap his tongue around the name. This is Bro, not the Pharaoh.

He sits back, runs a flaming hand through his hair. “I am Aulus Cinaed. No, I am Dirk Strider. It is October fifteenth, two thousand and fifteen. I am in Los Angeles, California, in the United States of America.” He takes a deep breath, biting his lip.

Headcanons list:† = How the character feels about murder

Alright, this actually stumped me. I feel as though on one hand, Kanaya categorizes murder to be a horrible course of action. She values life far too much to hear that someone died recently and it would possibly pain her to hear that someone she once knew was murder.

Though when you play a game, where her friends, close and far, were murdered before her eyes her idea changes. Not to mention it was almost common on her home planet. She hates it, and hates the idea of resorting to it. Yet, if her anger becomes too overpowering she won’t hesitate to harm much less kill someone who dared to cross a line. She has done it before, and I doubt Kanaya would not be afraid to do it again especially in the sake of her friends protections.

So like. Murder equals bad unless they really deserve it is probably the closest thing she can agree on the topic.
