i am so sorry to ask if you’ve already elaborated on this already, but could you explain all the different kent variants? :)
Of course, I don’t mind going through them all! Although, most aren’t that different from each other like the Marks are.
Also, this is LONG so it’s under a cut—
Viltrumite Mark’s Kent
For all intents and purposes, this Kent was almost the exact same as our Main Kent.
However, Krypton? Was very much different. After the Scourge Virus, Krypton was the first planet Viltrum visited. However, the people of Krypton weren’t exactly keen on being used as a breeding camp. Thus, the start of a conflict/war. As the remaining Viltrumites were still recovering and Krypton’s technology proved just dangerous enough to take seriously.
Because of that conflict, Kryptonite was discovered by the Empire and was distributed amongst the soldiers and Nolan possessed a dagger made of it.
Mark was raised on Viltrum like all viable/well bred children and was sent to Earth when 18 where he met Kent.
He worked his way into her life, and they began a relationship relatively quickly compared to most Kents.
However, once he told her about his mission for Earth, she opposed him. He took so long Nolan was dispatched to help. And he gave Mark an ultimatum.
He kills Kent to pull the problem out from its roots, or he will.
Thus, Viltrumite Mark killed his Kent in what he considers an act of mercy. (Compared to what he’d imagine Nolan would’ve done)
Mohawk Mark’s Kent
Mohawk Mark’s Kent, again, is practically the same as Main Kent.
She met Mark in High School when the two were paired together by teachers. See Mark was the disinterested kid in class, he’s skirt by doing the absolute bare minimum. And Kent was the absolute complete opposite.
Mohawk began to latch onto Kent for fun. He liked to tease and make fun of her behind her back. But that ‘fake nice’ melted into actual friendship after a while.
When Kent’s secret came out, their relationship quickly deteriorated beyond repair, as Mark already had trust issues so this just ‘confirmed’ things for him.
Omni-Mark’s Kent
Again, extremely similar to Main Kent. In fact, the most similar one so far.
Kent and Mark were high school sweethearts.
Unlike in canon, Mark here has not killed his father yet but follows his every order.
Which also includes being at odds against Superwoman. Kent reveals her identity in their first fight, but that doesn’t sway Mark.
Lensless Mark’s Kent
This Kent is more prone to irritation than most. She bottles up everything as Kent, leading to Superwoman being more snippy. Of course, she’s extremely kind to those she saves, but those she fights?
The anger has a tendency to leak through the walls.
Lensless only knows Superwoman, and Kent knows Lensless is Mark.
And they definitely have a sort of FWB relationship compared to a committed one.
Fullmask Mark’s Kent
This Kent, and her Krypton, is extremely similar to Viltrumite Mark’s.
However, Mark’s story goes almost the exact same as in canon. Mark and Kent have been dating since Kent she moved to the city.
And when Nolan started to beat Mark? Well Kent had to try her best to save her boyfriend, as Nolan wouldn’t have stopped in this universe.
However, that was a fatal choice.
Nolan was gifted and would cary around Kryptonite as he knew Superwoman was a Kryptonian.
He killed her there as a lesson to Mark. That even someone as strong as her, was nothing compared to the might of Viltrum.
Prisoner Mark’s Kent
This Kent, again, is the same as Main. In fact, nothing about her changes. She and Mark were dating.
If you know Superman stories, this Kent is simply in the middle of her Death of Superwoman arc during the original Prisoner Mark blurb I wrote.
Simister Mark’s Kent
This Kent is from the Absolute universe.
To put it very simply: this Kent grew up on Krypton until around the ages of 15-16.
Krypton’s destruction was caused by greed of the higher class’ environmental recklessness. Her parents tried to get everyone off planet but Kent was the only survivor once pieces of the planet began to strike the ships.
She landed on Earth and lived with the Kent’s before a military squad called the ‘Peacemakers’ drove her away.
She and Mark here only know each other as their alter egos. And while Sinister definitely has some kind of interest in Kent, it’ll never be mutual.
Shiesty Mark’s Kent
The only difference this Kent has between her and Main Kent is this one prefers to stay street level.
In fact, both her and Mark prefer to remain street level. Kent because she believes there’s plenty of planet level heroes, so she’d be more useful on the ground. And Mark? It’s easier to remain in control of every variable when he’s actually the strongest in the room.
Also, again, these two as Mark and Kent are high school sweethearts. But often are fighting as Invincible and Superwoman.
They also both have a hunch on who the other actually is. But choose to ignore it, as to not ruin what they have.
If you know the T-Shirt, jeans, and work boots? This is what this Kent wears.
Unironically, these two have one of the healthiest relationships out of Variant Mark/Kent
Emperor/Target Mark’s Kent
He has Ultrawoman.
Her parents being Jor-Il and Lara being extreme in ‘survival of the fittest’ and eugenics.
Kent was a test tube baby, genes were picked specifically by her parents to make her the best of Krypton.
Martha and Jonathan Kent also weren’t the best people in that universe either.
Ultra-Kent is the start of the Crime Syndicate which were at odds against the start of the Viltrumite Empire on Earth. At least, until she and Mark became a couple
Corrupted Mark
Again, similar to Main Kent.
This one takes the place of the Eve whose neck was snapped by Mark.
However, instead of killing her, Mark used Golden Kryptonite. Which completely and permanently removes Kent’s abilities to absorb and metabolize the Yellow Sun radiation into her powers.
She’s kept in a terrarium of sorts.
Flaxan Mark’s Kent
This is Flashpoint Kent.
Instead of landing in Kansas as a baby, she lands in Metropolis and is found and captured by the GDA.
She has spent her whole life as an experiment of theirs (she is not trained as a soldier)
This Kent and Mark have only known each other as enemies, but if given the chance? They’d get along well and enter a (as healthy as can be) relationship.
Long Hair Mark’s Kent
A recent addition to the Kent’s is this one, so I lack the details I have with the others.
This Mark is paired with Bizarro Kent.
This Kent just doesn’t understand human customs and often comes off as a ‘Villain of the Week’ by accident.
Mark and Kent here have cheesy, awful romcom vibes as Mark tries to ‘stop’ Kent each time she does something.
Mustache Mark’s Kent
Again, very recent and an idea from a reader.
This time, Krypton and Viltrum were in the midst of a proper war.
Kent’s life remains semi the same, but this time Lor-Zod was Kent’s godfather as he was close with her bio parents. However, he still ends up in the Phantom Zone.
He is released by ignorant aliens and follows the trail of the last online Kryptonian tech.
He tells Ma and Pa the good side of his story and begins to train young Kent. As time moves on, Zod’s plan of turning Earth into New Krypton is outed, Viltrum’s take over of Earth is begun.
Mustache Mark and Kent do not, and will not ever get along. They are also noticeably older than their Main counterparts.
…
Uma Musume Kent
I told y’all I’m making this canon.
Kent here is adopted into a normal human family, and meets Marcy while in Tracen Academy.
They’re, and I’m not even kidding when I say this, the most healthy versions of Mark and Kent.

Also, when I have the time, I’ll go through both Superwoman Variant and Mark Variant tags with STS [Specific Variant Name] to make navigation a whole lot easier!
