Yesterday I went and dropped off the 2nd batch of zines at @okthestore and as I entered the store it was really refreshing and encouraging to spot my work amongst so many other creators I admire. I was too sick to post this yesterday but today I’m feeling a lot better. Just reached another milestone. In 2015 and half of 2016, I spent a lot of time working at @okthestore and I spent even more time merchandising their AMAZING art/coffee table book collection and since day one it has always been a dream of mine to have something I created sold in the store…well yesterday that dream came true and now I’m so pleased to announced that @okthestore is officially carrying my “Simple Things” zine! New milestone 🚨 - so with volume 1 of my “Simple Things” zine I wanted to see if I could sell them all [direct to consumer] on my own (through my site and pop-pop shop experiences) and thankfully I did. However with volume 2 my goal was to do a lil’ bit of both, meaning sell them on my own in addition to having them in a couple of shops. Well, yesterday the first part of that goal was actualized and I’m so pleased to announced that @alchemyworks is the first shop to officially carry my “Simple Things” zine!
