OVER A DECADE LONG DREAM & WISH COME TRUE! For over a decade I have been a huge fan of Wade Barrett and he has been my one of my absolute favorites in all of wrestling for nearly two decades. He is my favorite heel of all time in pro wrestling. For over a decade I have been wishing upon Birthday Cakes to meet him for so many many years. This year my over a decade long Birthday Wishes CAME TRUE! I was at the WWE Smackdown show here in Buffalo on December 2nd a few weeks back. I ended up scoring a single ticket front row right behind Wade Barrett two weeks before the show for cheap. Very reasonable price! I never expected to get that good of a seat as I did. A couple days before the show I did a Tweet mentioning Wade Barrett in a poll of which one of his retro tee shirts I should wear to the show because I went to solely see Wade Barrett. He ended up responding to my Tweet and even liked the Tweet when I told him where I would be sitting. Fast forward to the day of the show and I am sitting behind the commentators desk waiting for Wade Barrett’s music to hit and seeing him come down the aisle. Michael Cole came down first and then it was the best star in the entire WWE Wade Barrett’s turn. His music hit and I went nuts screaming my heart out. He rounded the corner of the ring to the commentary desk and he stood atop the stairs and immediately saw me and my sign. Wade in his beautiful sexy booming voice pointed directly at me and said YAAAASSSSSS when he saw me and the sign I made for him. He came directly over to me before the show to try to take a selfie with me but there was no time as Smackdown was going live in three minutes. One of the ring crew ladies took my sign for him to autograph before the show and he was so happy and thrilled at my sign even showing Michael Cole. Michael Cole turned around to me and shook his head at me and said “Wade Barrett Really” LMAO HAHAHAHAH. All through the show I had to prevent myself from melting because Wade Barrett was in front of me. Not only is he one of my absolute favorite wrestlers of all time he’s also one of my ultimate wrestler crushes. One commercial break Wade looked back at me and smiled. Fast forward to the end of the show after the cameras went off and before the dark match Wade Barrett jumped over the barricade to take the selfie with me. We chatted a few minutes before the dark match as he had to get to the back. Told him to get back into the ring and we miss him in the ring. That the Barrett Barrage is ready to take flight again with him. Before he left I got the hugest tightest hug from him. Ladies he is pure rock solid British Steel muscle and he is way more beautiful and handsome in person! I nearly melted into him. After he left I ended up in my chair again waiting for the dark match in tears of happiness. He was one of my most sought after wrestlers to meet if not the most. He’s my favorite Intercontinental Champion of all time. I was in complete bliss and euphoria and tranquility after the show and still am. After the show I posted our pic together on Twitter and he RTed our pic as well as saying my Wade Sign was the best Wade Sign ever and wished me a Happy Early Birthday. The universe aligned perfectly that week. Wade Barrett is such an absolute sweetheart and beyond wonderful and kind soul. I always wish nothing but the best that this universe has for him. I truly hope he does go back to competing in the ring again full time with a full run and wins both Universal and WWE Championships. He deserves it! If he does I’m gonna try to go to as many of his matches as humanly possible. Never in a million years did I think I would ever meet Wade Barrett. Good stuff like this doesn’t happen to me to often. I feel so blessed to have had this once in a lifetime opportunity. This is a moment I will forever treasure. To anyone who doubts their dreams coming true THEY DO COME TRUE. NEVER STOP DREAMING & NEVER GIVE UP HOPE.
