"I know, I know. It's gettin' a little long!" Stu whined playfully, shivering lightly at Tara's fingers met with his scalp for a moment as she messed around with his tufty locks. "But, I mean, who has the time to waste? There's so many things going on around town at the minute, I'd feel trapped if I had to sit down for that long. Hospital and hairdressers, man. They take up so much time!" He relaxed, his right foot wiggling in pleasure as she played with his hair. "Y'know, all this lovin' makes me want to grow it out. Maybe you could try pullin' on it when it gets longer. You like that?"

"Okay, keep your eyes closed!" Stu called out as he struggled to get himself and what he was carrying through the doorway. "No peeking! I'll know!" he whined, trying not to acknowledge that he'd just bashed his hip off of the door handle. There was some more shuffling and scrabbling as he eventually made his way back into his pokey apartment. He set down what he'd been carrying, a few balloons and streamers that were placed upon his kitchen table, and in the middle of them, a handmade red velvet cake that had Tara's name smudged onto it with icing. "Okay....now look." he stood back, watching her with piercing eyes as he beheld her beholding his masterpiece.

"I don’t know who I am without you." (Tara & Stu)

"That's because we're one, remember? Without you, I'm nothing at all. Just an incomplete, useless, broken part. Waiting for you to find me and make me perfect." He grinned, meaning every word both about himself and about her in return. "But, you don't have to worry about that. You don't have to be without me. What's mine is yours. If you wanted to stay here forever, you know I wouldn't say no. Getting to see you every day would be the best thing ever, actually. And I could keep you safe. You'd never have to worry about anything again."
