Well, I have no idea how long tumblr has left or how long this one has left. This may be our “So long and thanks for all the fish” moment. If it is, then it’s been fun and I’ll miss this hellsite. I’m too tired to say much, but the fact that the alien wants to kill him isn’t even on the list is a sign of just how jaded he’s gotten.

Ugh, so much to mention this update.

So last week I posted a notice on my mod-blog explaining that there wouldn’t be an update because I was at EFNW. However I couldn’t get logged into this account to post it on this blog, so my apologies if you didn’t see the update and didn’t know why.  Further that con left me both exhausted and feeling like I’d been snorting powdered glass all weekend, something I’m just now recovering from. Which is more or less what made this comic so late.

Also, I forgot until I was drawing the last panel that story arcs tend to set me back on the learning curve for characters not in that comic. It’s been a while since I drew Matt or Pers. Oh well, that’s not easily avoided.

The last thing is that I hate not knowing how contrast or colors will look on a given display until I see it, on my drawing tablet the first panel is dark, but visible enough to make it clear the second talker is the toolbot. However, now on my tower it looks like basically a black screen. So I guess you might be able to adjust contrast on that if you like, there’s not much special there other than the first appearance of one of the more normal bots Atropos controls.

If you’re wondering why they need that super advanced hazard detection and avoidance, well it was added in after the third lab tech died when the bots ran over a loose bolt on the floor.
