JCC Handles Assault Insufficiently
My former community college has recently become an on-campus college and they've already had reports of assault. Including a recent report, that the college has not informed anyone of, over Labor Day weekend. The mother has made an article and a plea for others to take action and e-mail the college in order to inform them that they're making campus life unsafe for students.

That's the mothers article.
The man was found guilty of assault, and may possibly be found guilty of another assault, yet the only punishments he receives barely inconvenience him except for that he cannot practice for his sport for a month.
This is not a sufficient measure to ensure the safety of students. He is still capable of assaulting more female students and the punishments only entitle him to believe that he can further damage a students life without issue. Is a mans sport career more important than the safety of students? HELL FUCKING NO
I have called both the Campus Security and PR to verify this story and they informed me that they cannot give out information on whether an incident has or has not occurred. And I understand that they cannot give out specific information, that is the case with most colleges.
What disturbs me the most is:
My sister is a current student there and she has informed me that there was no announcement to the students at all about the incident. THAT IS RIDICULOUS. THE FIRST THING A COLLEGE SHOULD DO IS INFORM THEIR STUDENTS My current college does, without fail. I would be thankful if you could spread the news, and e-mail the Dean and Vice President of the college with your concerns. Their emails are in the article linked above.
