Nova in student overalls~ I want to include more Finnish references in my comic, including our student overalls :3

I found out talking to some randos on the tram this year that the student clubs sell patches in the big Vappu horde...I mean party in Kaivopuisto. (I didn't go to university here so I don't know these things.) Since the traditional geocacher meetup didn't happen this year (logistical limitations; the time slot was taken by something else) I spent my time going around looking at those. Only ended up buying 2 though. I'll sew them on for next year.

It's been ... too many years since I've uploaded pictures of my overalls, so it's about time for an update. I am uploading these pictures in full size, which means you can even enlarge and read the text on most of the patches.

Missing below is the purple thing with (mostly) official geocaching patches, it's not that interesting anyway and I didn't wear it that day.

Slightly late obligatory post-Vappu overalls status post, 2016

There’s a few really groan-worthy badges that, fingers crossed, I’m ordering this week (because I have !@#% bank codes now, so I don’t have to pay fees for each money transfer, which means I can send money to buy small things like this, like how EVERYBODY ELSE does). They will go on the sides of the sleeves, and then, sadly, nobody will see them.

So I bought a handful of cloth badges from Lingtwisti to sell/trade at the appro in Tampere last week, but I got into town so late and it was raining so hard and everyone looked so miserable and tired and probably already spent all their money on drinks so I couldn't really sell any and I'm kind of stuck with them.

Should I post them here for my followers to buy or swap for things of equivalent value (other badges, postcards, other flat things)?

Looks like it's time to make a commitment: do I get the black student coveralls of Echo (English (major) students association) or hot pink of Absoluuttinen Universaali (Linguistics students association)? I'm on the board of AU but I'm a member of both... Echo is more established and quite large, while AU is very small and we're starting almost from scratch (with a new name) after a few years of dormancy.
