So, it occurred to me that I'm in a post-holiday slump. Therefore, I've decided I'm going to post pictures of things I made before opening this blog. Mostly student pieces, but also some other things I did to experiment. I'll be posting them in no particular order. Here's a student piece. We were coming up with neat shapes to press into molds for wax injection and, later, casting in silver. I'm not entirely sure if I have a picture of the end result, but I'll go looking later. This started out as a plate 1mm scrap copper that I cut into a rough tall hexagon, then used various tools at my disposal (torch, pliers, hemispherical hammer moulds, dowels and some others I can't recall). It's not really supposed to /be/ anything, just kinda neat looking. I think I was considering turning it/its eventual end products into pendants.
