My cardboard corvid headdress. Made for the first mini project of this year at college.
Not mine! Just very proud as this comes from the talented @kagomecwoytsek and will be presented in the art show. ❤️ #studentartwork #stilllifepainting #highschoolart https://www.instagram.com/p/COL0RF6lTRG/?igshid=1h119ae40vy34
...I´m breathing in the chemicals...
I made this a few weeks ago for an art assignment about quarantine and how it affects us. I’m taking an Ap art course next year, and they recommend that you start completing work over the summer so it’s less pressure. So I’m gonna try to do a complete work every two weeks but I might change that. This is a new account, and if you don’t know me, I work with traditional art, with oils, watercolors, drawing and many other mediums.

SHIPPING WORLDWIDE TO YOU Up your Zoom–Crit–Game! Critique: The War of Design Available at www.draw-down.com Critique: The War of Design is about how to approach design critique from cultural and critical perspectives. Mixing symbolism, memoir, institutional critique, a thorough walloping of some of design’s heroes, very silly illustrations, lovingly-placed clip art, and a pinch of ritual sacrifice, this zine is intended to be a useful resource for students, teachers, and designers. Topics include defining critique; crits in context; denotation and connotation; mean-spirited writing about grunge music and grunge typography; giving and receiving critical feedback, and honing your inner critic. #artstudents #studentart #artcollege #arteducation #schoolart #artschoollife #artclass #artteacher #fineartstudent #studentartwork #artschool #artschoolproblems #remotelearning #zoomcrits #zoomclass #zoom #designcrits https://www.instagram.com/p/B-j0eHrnaxS/?igshid=f6chwo1afkb6
my potion shop sculpture!! i think this one's a keeper; it may be my favorite artwork of the semester :]
this is made mostly of cardboard, but also some very thin (1/8") wood and a little bit of styrofoam for certain details. i adhered canvas to cardboard for the front sign and the stained glass window in the back; i really like how they turned out!! i always enjoy working with cardboard (esp. since it's cheap, accessible, and biodegrable!!), so maybe i'll keep experimenting with the cardboard and canvas combo :3
this is finished for now, but i might add a fence to the front lawn, a hanging sign on the left side of the building, and/or some more details on the chimneys if i feel like it.
anyways, hope u like :3 i'll post more sculpture projects tomorrow and on thursday, probably back to drawings after that? we shall see
