Student Weekender- The Corridor
This is the final video Me, Billy and Richard made for the student weekender project. in this video logblogbilly made the graphics of the building to add a painted brush type theme to the whole video. to make this theme consistent throughout the whole project I created a map of the key points on oxford road. as you cam see above I also used paint brush type illustrations.
richbrings2lifeblog also wanted to keep the theme consisted and the way he done this was adding a paint brush type to the borders of his text box. that you can see were at the end of the video. from this project we started off as three single colleagues and kid of started doing our own thing. and then later on we collaborated to make the video as one unit.
next time I would just hope that we work better as a team and have more of an input into the project
Incorporating initial ideas into the digital designs
Session notes from Monday’s session are on my Tumblog - http://bacmm14-15-lewis.tumblr.com.
Your animations should include the following text (if you can fit it all in):
Student Weekender 21-22 March 2015 (it may not actually be this date but use it anyway) a weekend of art, music and cultural events happening along Manchester’s student corridor Venues: Central Library, Home, Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Manchester Museum, Contact Theatre, Whitworth Art Gallery www.facebook.com/studentengagementmanchester
Corridor Manchester logo attached…
You should be presenting three alternative design ideas next Monday… as storyboards, sketches, mockups or test animations… You need to explain why you think these design ideas meet the brief.
Do let me know how you’ve paired up… one team could be a group of three now that Sam’s moved back to his Environmental Science course… or one of you could work alone.
Can you please confirm by sending a reply to me and Saoirse that the email address we now have for you is correct.
Moustapha, Ashley, Billy, Dean and Richnel have confirmed their email addresses - can the rest of you do too please so that we know you’re getting our emails.
Please pass these details on and make sure everyone has them.
