Hello, everyone! Allyson ( @allydsgn ) here!
As the summer rolls around we’re pursuing our next project, and we would like some help! This summer we are going to produce our first volume of The Studioblr Archives. This will be a small zine of our original posts, tips, and other fun studioblr/studyblr things for art-related majors! This is to be published by the end of the U.S. summer (hopefully before the end of August). The content will be mostly of already-produced written work, we’re just compiling into a nicely-designed magazine format and will be continuing the Studioblr Archives for future volumes during future breaks. We also hope to do a couple written things exclusively for the magazine, but that’ll depend on the number of team members we have!
We are looking for (multiple) people for these positions:
Someone that can go through our written posts and check for grammatical or comprehensive errors before we start layouts.
Edit newly produced content
Familiarity with art is a plus, but not required
If you are willing to stay with us past the Studioblr Archive project: editing future posts we put on the blog would be a great help since some of us are not strong in English grammar (including myself)
This position is for layout design for the Studioblr Archives project. You will be moved to the “Content Creator” position after the project if you choose to stay with us past this summer project.
Should be a Graphic Design major or express skill and knowledge in typography/editorial design through example work.
For the Studioblr Archives, you will be making layouts for pre-written and pre-edited articles (not writing the content, but you may suggest contributions if you’d like since some of the content is directed towards you).
This is someone who is in an art-related major/concentration that is willing to write or produce needed content. The content can vary from graphics to writing articles, posts, or whatever is needed for the Studioblr Archives project.
If you are staying with us past the project: you’ll be contributing to posts, articles, graphics, and reblogs to the Studioblr Collective’s dashboard. This includes master posts, tutorials, inspirational artwork, answering asks, and other studyblr/studioblr content!
No worries, after the project this is not a high maintenance thing, it’s mostly for whenever you have free time to add things to the queue, want to contribute to posts, or answering asks. :)
Let us know if you have any questions or concerns! I’d love for this to be a chill, but still a fun experience. Also, you can add this project to a resume or a portfolio that shows teamwork and design skills!
Applications due July 8th!
