I don't know how to put into words the positive overwhelm I felt this weekend and especially Sunday, during the opening of our atelier house 😍✨ . The preceding week was stressful, with a never-ending to do list, as I still had to officially move into my studio 😅 . Halfway through everything it clicked, that my furniture and I are the least interesting things about this opening and that I needed to display my art as good as possible. 🤦♀️ So Thursday I spend the whole day, going through everything, sorting what is still representative and what not, what I wanted to display and be seen. I searched my frames, collected over the years from second hand shops and gift boxes, for fitting ones and cleaned everyone of them, disassembling, framing my piece, reassembling, maybe fixing. 🛠️ This was one of the first times I saw my art, which is mostly drawn on loose sketchbook paper, framed and beautifully arranged. What a special feeling! ❤️❤️ . On Sunday came the next overwhelming positive feeling, when I got to see with my own eyes, how people react and observe my art, how their expression changed when they read my Zines, how they get pulled in by the stories ✨ It was really special to me! And I was, and still am! tremendously grateful ❤️🌟 . Sunday was a splendid experience, but also tiring, I had nearly no time to be with my friends outside, because I was always talking, connecting with someone new ❤️ I am happy for this! I am happy for the interest and the enriching talks I had. 😍 But as a person more to the introverted side of the spectrum, I was also happy when I could just shut up 😂 .
