Welcome back

To new Music Tech 2nd years.  This is the home page for your course.  Here is your rota for the first 6 weeks of course leading up to the half term break (Week Commencing Oct 26th).

Schedule - week 16/02  + Task&Evaluations + Corona

I have been slowly working my way through your proposals.  You may notice some changes - I am tidying them up, correcting grammatical errors etc.  I will be speaking to individuals during the course of the week.

By the end of next week I want everyone to have completed and documented some Primary research on their Wix site.  Please speak to me if you have questions.

As it stands college is continuing as normal, but it does appear that some future disruptions or closures are a possibility.  Keep your eye on the college website. In the event of that happening I need to ensure we are all able to contact each other and that you can work remotely - something which fortunately is reasonably easy given you work on a web based platform.

There is no college on Thursday morning due to auditions/interviews for next year.

Schedule - Week 09/03/20

So the coming week is week 1 of your final project process.  

This means your objectives for the coming weeks should be devised by yourselves.  In the first weeks this needs to include Primary and Secondary research, details of which will need to be posted on your project sites.  You will also need to complete your weekly evaluation at the end of the week.

I will be checking your sites and will check in with you individually to ensure you are keeping on track.  Please make sure you ask me if you have any queries.  I am happy to look at work in progress and give feedback.

Schedule - Week 02/03

So you have your final project template sites now, which you should begin customising to provide individual branding for your final projects.  

Using the supporting materials I have provided please ensure you have completed and posted a first attempt at your project proposal on the ‘Proposal’ tab of your new sites by Monday at 5pm.

This week you will be developing your 12 week production schedules and generating Primary research tasks.  I will go through this with you in your groups in the ‘project development’ sessions on Tuesday (Studio A).  Please ensure you take note when these are for your individual groups (see schedule).

Schedule - Week 10/02/20

Firstly, very well done to those of you who contributed to our live event last night in New Cross -  I thought it was a great night and everyone who performed did really well, so congrats and thanks to Fred, Joe, Jazz, Harley, Jake and Josiah.

This is the last week before half term, and please note there is no college on Wednesday due to staff training day.   

You need to complete the practical part of the ‘production to a brief’ assignment project this week.  A reminder of what is required;
