Lessons from History

So...apparently, Julius Caesar actually got a note that told him about the assassination plan for the Ides of March. It even ID'ed all the men in on it. But, he didn't know what it was, so he put off reading it. If that isn't proof that procrastination is dangerous, idk what is.

Therapist: Well it seems like you’re experiencing depression.

Me: *flabbergasted* Wait, what? No, I mean, what I’m going through is a low point and I can have the emotion of “being depressed” but I’m not chronically experiencing depressio-

Therapist: -According to the computer, based on your survey response it says you are experiencing anxiety and depression.

Me: *deadpans without a second thought* Wait, the computer said WHAT about me? Wow, rude.

My therapist looked at me like I was rude, but...it just kind of came out.

In other news apparently it says because I have a hard time with falling asleep/waking up that I have anxiety and depression. Pretty sure my bed has a lot to do with it, lol. But yeah, so I’m overwhelmed right now? I would be lying if I said I wasn’t experiencing negative emotions, but I’m not beyond frazzled and burnt out. So I’m definitely on the right track.
