Nobody should be using GPT detectors for anything important.
This is from a recent study that found that GPT detectors were misclassifying writing by non-native English speakers as AI-generated 48-76% of the time (!!!), compared to 0%-12% for native speakers.
It is irresponsible to use AI-generated text detectors as evidence of academic misconduct, and that's putting it mildly.

Hello, I hope you are all doing well. After a few months I am finally back.
I'm currently working on some interpretations for university. Have a nice day! 🪻
Guess who just got her IRB approved!!
pics that i took lately. i’ve been studying and trying to finish my assignments but haven’t had the time to post, so ta-daa! (ノ・∀・)ノ
day and night studies 🌅🌃
Don’t stop until you’re proud.
When I get contradictory comments from my peer reviewers...
Lol, that’s how I feel when I get contradictory feedback from my committee members…
Finally got the last of the feedback and approval on my dissertation proposal. I am officially ABD!
things to change about your study strategy if it isn't working
switch from paper to digital or visa versa, or switch it up every couple of weeks
stop trying to make things pretty if it's stressing you out
switch to handwritten notes, or try re-writing your notes after class
change the paper you're using, try a different pen
start using highlighters
try bullet journaling, it doesn't need to be pretty
if a physical planner isn't working, try a digital one like notion
try reading audiobooks instead
look into supplemental material on your class, e.g. crash course
work in a different place
change the music you listen to, i suggest nintendo and chill on spotify
take more/less breaks
change the time of day you study at
Change the intent of your notes, instead of "saving information for later" try only writing down what's profound or you think will be hard to find in your textbook
Pretend you are taking notes to teach someon3 else later (even make a post about what you learned, studyblrs love hearing what each other is learning!)
Look into digital knowledge systems like Obsidian and start making conscious connections with the notes you take in class (this is called a Zettelkasten system)
Write notes in your own words instead of copying lectures or textbooks, if the wording is important make it a quote and attribute it to your teacher!
Use post it notes in the margins to call out important information from textbooks, and highlight what you don't feel like or cant reform in your own words
I cannot advocate enough how helpful it is to change things up every now and then.
Adult realization: you will make mistakes, you will act irrationally. You will commit some wrongs that cannot be fully righted. People will dislike you and misunderstand you for all sorts of reasons. None of these make you a bad person. All you can do is try your best to be kind and just to people, grow and learn.
Ugh, amen.
Important Academic Reminders
there is no shame in asking for help
there is no shame in having a tutor
there is no shame in not getting As
there is no shame in not knowing what you want to study
there is no shame in having a job
there is no shame in struggling in a so-called "easy subject"
there is no shame in withdrawing from a course
there is no shame in changing your major
there is no shame in not taking a full load of classes in a semester
there is no shame in realizing your school may not be for you
hope these are useful :) -love pika☁️

Learning never stops, so we better keep on taking chances.
I like those notebooks.
Spent part of the weekend setting up a new bullet journal. Cue massive boost of motivation that always comes with a new planner.
