Revamping my tumblr a-woohoo

Apologies for the informal title! 

Hope you all are staying safe and well during this pandemic! Having had the chance to stay in my home and overthink about everything in my life, academics and beyond, I have decided to re-vitalize my tumblr with more original posts.

I am moving across the country this week to begin my PhD in Sociology and figured this is a good time for a fresh start. I would like to begin posting more frequently to document my PhD journey and engaging more with all of you. 

I know the academic journey is long and strenuous and would like to also post some helpful tips for deciding where to go to grad school applying to grad school, figuring out where to go to grad school, and more! It was a tumultuous experience: I applied to 11 PhD programs, got into 6, received full scholarships and living stipends for 5, and agreed to attend 1! I will be starting this fall at a university I love, a department that cares, and a rigorous program (ranked #2 worldwide!)

I would also be down to post more content about statistics or economics (my undergrad majors), sociology + demography, “adulting” and all that comes with it (renting an apt, scheduling appts, cooking and cleaning, etc.), and make more creative content like wallpapers. If you would like to see me post about something in particular, feel free to let me know! I am open to your ideas.
