hello november! its been a busy few days, i hope you all had a lovely halloween! over the last week i’ve managed to:

finish midterms, huzzah!

make harry potter style pumpkin pasties

carve jack-o-lanterns

toast pumpkin seeds

go to a haunted house with friends

see 23 dogs on said excursion (23!!!)

dress up as a pirate for halloween

read outside with the bumblebees

get a holiday job offer out of the blue

see a play our family friend directed

i’m currently reading a wizard of earthsea by ursula k. leguin for fantasy week in my young adult literature class and i love it. the imagery is great and i’ve always been a sucker for world building and magic~ i can’t believe i never read it when i was younger!

currently reading :: of mice and men by john steinbeck

i hated this book at first but i honestly like it now that i’ve finished. the structure and the way it was written is so beautiful. but now i have to write an essay on it and i don’t want to at all :(

omg you guys i’m blown away by how much you like my cat. thanks so much, i gave her some kisses. at the moment she’s kneading in her favorite blanket. also we’ve got 100+ followers now!!! thanks so much for joining me on my studying adventure ♡

i took a pre-paper writing walk into town. it was really crisp and fall-like out, with plenty of leaves to jump in. hit up all the pokestops and visited my favorite  indoor/outdoor cat. his name is joey and he sits outside his house sometimes and begs for pets from every stranger who walks by. he mews gently until you pet him. then he purrs. he’s a polydactyl!

sweetener by ariana grande is amazing! by far my favorite album of her’s. when i was doing my summer work today at starbucks a lady came up to me and told me that whatever i was working on, i would get an A for. lowkey one of the nicest compliments i’ve ever gotten (click for better quality!)

oh hey here i am posting again. thank you so much for 1.3k ahh that’s insane. also, can you believe tomorrow’s OCTOBER?? dang. happy libra season to all my fellow libra babies, it’s our time and it’s also spooky season so i’m hype. here’s my october monthly spread lol it’s very basic and it’s yellow in honor of trench coming out on friday i’m so so so SO excited!!
