18.04.20 || went for a 5k run/walk today as part of the 'run 5 donate 5 nominate 5' challenge that's been circulating instagram in the UK to raise money for the NHS! it was so nice! also printed out all my summary notes for my quantum mechanics module as the exam is in less than 2 weeks now

i studied at my brother’s today! math is really getting on my nerves but i’m trying my best.
the softest little study buddy! also the least helpful- she’s been trying to eat my computer cord, computer keys, notes, and pen. persephone, i can’t write my notes if you’re sitting on my notebook! i’m learning about reference interviews so i can evaluate how well local libraries are conducting them. i get to be a secret shopper patron!
day 3/100 of self discipline:
[ ] thing to eat or drink every day [for me it’s cod liver oil, ugh -- FLOP.]
[X] bedtime goal [definitely 11 pm every night]
[ ] wake up goal [no phone usage until I get to school, unless an emergency -- I am not starting off well because I use my phone during breakfast...]
[X] self-care goal [LCO routine for hair every night -- of course!]
[X] school goal [work on at least one assignment every day, minimum of 30 minutes -- worked on my article analysis sheet so that was met.]

rest in peace my grades for this exam tomorrow 🚑🚑 this studyblr thing sure is motivatin tho !!
not all grad school readings are created equal! jk even the classes i have real textbooks for i get to watch a lot of TED talks. today was the first day of the new quarter, although i don’t have an on-campus class until tuesday. i’m taking:
INFO 507: Leading and Managing Information Organizations
INFO 590: Organization of Data and Information
INFO 683: Children’s Resources
not too hard to guess which classes i read for today. wishing everyone well in their return to studies after winter break ♡
