The little pup pack that came with me to my dad's house! Schenk the Large Toffee Pup! Crumpet the Tuffet Dog! And introducing Scoots the Milo Shiba Inu! I got him BNWT on mercari!! He was definitely worth it and had been on my wishlist for a while so finding him was great! (A little gift from me to me for working so hard through the holiday)
Doggies
I have a lot of puppers. Some of them I’ve had for so long they aren’t in the greatest shape XD. The Clifford in the back is actually my oldest stuffed animal.

Lady and Shaggy
As you may or may not know, I have a soft spot for the movie Lady and the Tramp, even have my own duo. So when O wrote this email back in February, of course I was interested right away:
“ I recently purchased these two cutie pies from Ebay and both are from the 1950s. Shaggy, the white one, is a character from the Disney movie “The Shaggy Dog”, and of course Miss Lady is from Lady and the Tramp. Neither have any issues that need to be repaired per se, and no major odors or anything. I just want to see if I can get them a bath and restuff with some new clean poly fill. I believe Shaggy is stuffed with foam or something, and Lady feels like she’s filled with some kind of a composite stuffing. Unfortunately, neither type of stuffing really ages well, and since I’m not the original owner of either of them, I’d like to have them filled with brand new stuffing that I know isn’t hiding any mites, dust, or other lovely surprises. Lady has some paint scuffs on her face, but I’m really not wanting those touched up because I think it gives her character and shows she has been loved. Lady was recently laundered by the person who sold her to me- they ran her through the delicate cycle in the wash, then brushed her out. It may be a month or so before I could send them in- I’m still waiting on Lady to be shipped from Canada. Just wanted to see if this is something you could do and if you could do a little double doggie discount if I send both these cuties in at the same time. Thanks so much! “
We planned to give each a spa with all new stuffing. These are the note that arrived with them when they finally made it to the hospital in late spring:

Here is how the duo actually appeared in person:
ok, but not at their best. As usual, their spa started with a bubble bath. But Shaggy’s tongue and nose and Lady’s ears were removed first, to be cleaned separately so they wouldn’t run on the rest of their fur:
Their person wrote:
‘ Oh how cute! They look like they’re enjoying their much needed baths!”
Once they were dry, they got restuffed and the little custom crochet hearts their person made went in:
One of Lady’s issues had been her inability to stand straight. She actually had wires to hold her legs straight (common in older animals) but they had migrated to her torso. They were straightened and put back where they belonged to help her stand again. Here she is all better:
Her person wanted to keep her well loved face as is. :-)
